Information Provided

Please note that appropriate footwear and suitable outdoor clothing must be worn on our tours. We reserve the right to refuse participation to customers dressed inappropriately or with inappropriate footwear. That will put the client’s well-being and safety at risk. In such cases, total cancellation charges apply.

Adventure Travel and Client Responsibility

It is fundamental that you accept possible hazards involved in the tour you booked and that when travelling in remote areas and mountains, there is an element of on-tour flexibility. The itinerary stated in the tour description is indicative, and it is not guaranteed that a particular route will be followed or place reached. As well, you have to acknowledge that delays and or alterations and their results, such as inconvenience and discomfort, are possible in unforeseen circumstances. You are responsible for bringing the personal equipment needed.

The use of alcohol or other mind-altering substances may prevent you from taking part in tours as it can pose safety threats to you or other participants.

Personal Travel Insurance

Individual travel insurance is not included in the tour prices. We strongly recommend that our clients have comprehensive travel insurance against contingencies, including compensation for medical costs and cancellation fees.

In the event of an emergency medical rescue and/or repatriation from a tour by whatever means, the client will bear the responsibility for such costs. In a medical emergency, Scandinavian citizens must present their passport, while citizens of EEA countries must present a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC card) or be charged in full. The free EHIC card replaces the E-111 form and ensures the same rights for citizens of participating countries. Citizens of non-EU/EEA countries will be charged in full at hospitals or clinics. For more information, contact the Icelandic Social Insurance Administration (Tryggingastofnun) at +354-560-4400 during 8:00-15:30 GMT.

All luggage and personal equipment you bring with you are, at all times, your responsibility. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to your baggage and personal equipment.
